8 Habits of a Millionaire
Do you want to be a millionaire? Well have you ever heard the following saying?
There are three types of people in the world: those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who wonder what happened.
Most people fall into the second or third categories. wishing their circumstances would change, but they don’t take any steps to improve them. Think and act like a millionaire and things will change in your life.
Those who fall into the first category don’t hope or wish for a better life, they create it.
Which of the three groups do you fall in?
One of my favourite sayings is “You Create What You Focus On!” Take note of what you are focusing today!
It’s entirely within your control
You control the quality of your life. You can achieve greater results by becoming a better version of yourself. With a little upgrade of yourself, you do better and achieve more.
If you want to earn more money, you can become the kind of person who serves countless others and becomes indispensable in their job. Your work can solve pressing problems, improve people’s lives, and get noticed by influential people.
When you take control and do those kinds of things, you become wealthy. You become a millionaire or a multimillionaire.
Whilst there is no one-size-fits-all formula for becoming a millionaire, successful individuals often share certain habits and traits that contribute to their financial success. Here are eight common habits of millionaires:
1. Setting Specific Money Goals like a Millionaire
Successful people set clear and specific financial goals for themselves. They create plans to achieve these goals and regularly track their progress towards them. They don’t give up when times get tough, they continue with their goal and achieve it.
2. Spend at Least 1 Hour a Day Learning
Successful individuals are always learning and seeking new knowledge like millionaires. They stay informed about financial trends, investment opportunities, and strategies for wealth building.
Start your days with intention, desire and thirst for gaining knowledge.
The world’s most successful people strive to be and achieve to be better. They are passionate learners who want to make the most of themselves and make a difference in the world. And it shows in the quality of their work.
The benefits you’ll gain from reading and developing your mind each day are immeasurable, and every aspect of your life will improve.
3. Invest in Yourself like a Millionaire
Everyone invests in insurances for cars and houses, and they invest in coaches for achieving more in sports but how many people do you know that really invest in themselves. Who do you know that has individual life insurances and has a success coach?
So many people I speak to think about getting into personal development but are not sure where to start. Starting, often is what people are afraid of. Whilst reading a self-help book, listening to YouTube or webinar are great ideas, the dopamine hit you will have won’t last long. It is a quick fix but won’t help you change habits and create new ones to change your life.
It is when you choose to really invest in yourself that you see how amazing life then flows.
Invest in yourself and pay for the service. When we don’t pay for something, we may start it but rarely finish it. However, when we have spent hard-earned money, we are far more likely to take it seriously and follow through.
If you are serious about becoming the type of person who makes things happen, make investing in yourself one of your top priorities. There’s usually a correlation between people’s level of success and the amount they’ve spent on their education and themselves.
When you start investing in yourself you meet like-minded people who only want what is best for you and your journey.
4. Become an Expert
If you want to become wealthy like a millionaire, take a serious look at the industry you work in and determine how much you think it will grow over the next ten years.
If you can see no limit to the industry’s growth, then it’s reasonable to say there’s no limit to your opportunity for growth within your industry in that same timeframe.
An expanding, dynamic industry not only needs but seeks the extraordinary person to share in its growth and will richly reward the person of vision and action – a person who is committed to producing excellent work.
There are people in your industry right now who are doing more and being more. You can become one of them by taking time every day to think of how you can put more into your job, how to be more creative, and how to provide exceptional service.
Test this idea by doing it for the next ninety days. You’ll be amazed at the difference it will make for you.
Then, if you continue to give your work all you’ve got, your industry will provide you with anything you want for the rest of your life.
5. Create Multiple Sources of Income
Virtually all wealthy people have Multiple Sources of Income (MSI).
MSI is not another job. It should be viewed as a source of income that is fun, creative, and passive. It should not interfere with, or cause you to jeopardize your primary source of income.
By developing MSI, you can earn many times what you are presently receiving from your primary source of income; it could be millions of dollars.
While there are countless ways to earn money with MSI, here are a few examples to get your creative juices flowing:
- write a book, song, play, or movie script
- join a network marketing company – every person in your downline is an MSI!
- invent something
- intellectual property (give your idea to someone else to take to market and receive a royalty)
- real estate investing
6. Take Inspired Action
One factor that distinguishes people who make things happen from those who don’t is the way they do their work each day.
Most people are always busy but rarely accomplish much of real value.
However, people who make things happen are focused on a specific target. They know where they’re going and what they need to do to get there. They have intensity, a focal point, a purpose. So, they work with a sense of urgency—getting a lot done in a short period of time.
When you work with a sense of urgency, you’re thinking 10 times bigger than everyone else. You don’t have to work harder—you just work more efficiently through systematic thought instead of random action.
Learn to make your work count by developing a principal purpose and a systematic plan to achieve it. In so doing, you’ll emerge from the rabble of “watchers” to that of achievers and leaders.
Action is a word that can imply “work” to some people, but inspired action will not feel like work at all. The difference between inspired action and action is this: Inspired action is when you are acting to receive. If you are in action to try and make it happen, you have slipped backward. Inspired action is effortless, and it feels wonderful because you are on the frequency of receiving.
Work smarter, not harder!
7. Taking Calculated Risks
Successful people are not afraid to take calculated risks to grow their wealth. They carefully assess risks and rewards before making investment decisions or starting new ventures.
8. Giving Back
Many millionaires are also generous and philanthropic. They believe in giving back to their communities or support causes that are important to them. Giving back not only benefits others but can also bring a sense of fulfilment and purpose.
It’s not about the money
The greatest reward of being a millionaire is not the amount of money you earn. It’s the kind of person you must become to get there. You must bring more of yourself, more of the potential that is inside you, to the surface.
Money is important. It solves a lot of problems. It allows you to provide service beyond your physical presence.
But money is a means to an end. If you are doing work you love and believe in, money becomes a tool for helping more and more people and making a difference.
Are you willing to develop these eight habits?
Are you ready to think and act bigger so you can earn millions?
The truth is that no one is going to save you, no one is going to give you all the answers to you questions. But what is happening, is that I am here ready to coach you into the next chapter of your life!!!
I believe in you. I KNOW you can do this.
To more and better,
