As a young child
As a young child, my dream was to become a hairdresser.
As a young child, my dream was to become a hairdresser. I left school to pursue that dream, but the universe had other plans for me. I became a Personal Assistant and worked in a bank, insurance broking firm, and the head office of a large retail chain where my skills of being highly organised moved me up the corporate ladder.
I also had from a very young age, a passion for flying and travelling overseas. Having had my first overseas trip on a school excursion, the bug has never left me. I have travelled all over and continue to travel today!
My first serious relationship, I married and fell pregnant with my first child soon after, and we welcomed into the world a beautiful baby girl. Four months later, we moved out of Sydney to a small coastal town in Port Stephens and two years later Jessica became a big sister, to Benjamin.
We started our first business and through the trials and tribulations of life, starting other businesses my marriage failed, and we divorced.
Through the property settlement, I obtained the business.
In the first month, I lost $35k so I had to learn very quickly how to quote, and manage contractors and equipment and of course, I made many mistakes. I had to reinvent myself and change my self-image many times to now be achieving a very successful 7-figure business.
As I grew and changed, my desire for a more meaningful career deepened. I was coached for over 10 years and learned to work on myself, to let go, surrender control and after 24.5 years, hand over my business which I sold Feb 2024 allowing myself the time me to work in my true passion. I am a certified Next Level Virtual Life Coach and PGI Consultant. I love the transformation I see within my clients. Whether it be personal or business it all starts with a slight shift in your thinking.
From here my life feels like it is just beginning with a passion for transforming many lives around the globe. I am very fortunate to be living by the beach in beautiful Newcastle on the east coast of Australia with my partner and my youngest daughter. I am 55 years old and a mother of three. I love being active, going mountain bike riding, catching up with friends, and enjoying as much ‘me time’, as possible.
Other businesses I have owned along the way are Port Stephens Jumping Castle Hire, Branch Management, an MYOB Consulting Business and I was a distributor for Essential Oils. I do not continue with these anymore.
In my spare time, I love being creative so renovating our house is a hobby, I have created kids’ characters based around my Tree Company along with having written 5 children’s books on being kind to others, being the best version of yourself, and, of course, trees. I have also written “21 habits to unshakable confidence” which is available on Amazon.
